Dr. A T M Sanaul Bashar

Dr. A. T. M. Sanaul Bashar MD, MPH has diversified and demonstrated experience in management, design,planning, implement, supervision, monitoring & evaluation of integrated development programs in Seniorand strategic positions in various reputed organizations over 16 years with special focus on QualityAssurance, Health Information System and TB programming since 2002. Dr. Bashar is a highly motivatedprofessional, task-oriented and able to work well both in teams and individually. He is well-accepted inprofessional circles as a dedicated worker and recognized among both Government and non-Governmentworkers as a strong and supportive co-worker. He also spent a large part of his career focusing on quality assurance and improvement systems in Hospital Management. His specific areas of technical expertise areTuberculosis, EPI, Reproductive Health and MNCH programs. He has worked with the National TB ControlProgram, Bangladesh, in strengthening quality of care. Dr. Bashar also brings with him a strong experience and understanding of the clinical practice arena, as he continues to work as a practitioner side by side withhis public health work. Having spent his undergraduate years in Ukraine, Dr. Bashar is also fully conversantand articulate in the Russian language and socio-cultural dynamics. He has co-authored national level standards and toolkits on Tuberculosis, along with international journal publications and monographs onquality improvement. Over the last seven years, Dr. Bashar has focused exclusively on building andstrengthening his organization's profile and involvement with the NTP, Bangladesh. Dr. Bashar is veryarticulate and possesses a cordial personality, which endears him to co-workers and colleagues in the health community. He is equally confident working at the clinical as at the community level.
