I am a statistician-economist with a PhD in Agricultural Economics and a master's in strategic and operational management. I have 15 years’ experience managing portfolios for multiples clients across Africa. I lead project development, monitoring and evaluation, and implementation; as well as framework development; budget coordination; disbursement follow-up; audit recommendation implementation; procurement and financial management monitoring; data collection, survey design and report preparation. I am currently a Project Management Specialist at Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), where I lead the implementation of several projects in the sectors of Agriculture, Education, Health, and Rural Solar Energy in Chad and Niger. I am also responsible for communication with country teams to continuously ensure that projects are effective, and that their design and implementation fully conform with the Bank's operational procedure. I have mastered of various software including the BANK Operation Management System (OMS) and Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP) system, for steps such as contract creation, project close, special account opening and closure, and extension of project key dates. In addition, I lead the creation of several tickets to provide bidding documents to the procurement team of the bank. Besides ERP, I am also proficient in the Microsoft Office package, STATA, and SPSS. I successfully supported the development and implementation of several projects funded by Africa Development Bank (AfDB), Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in 18 African countries working in both English and French in multi-cultural, interdisciplinary, and multi-sector settings in initiatives implemented by multi-country organizations such as the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA); International Center for Agriculture Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA), Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and the Statistics Department of the Ministry of Agriculture. From this, I have developed a thorough understanding of international development standards as well as the Bank’s mandate, strategic priorities, policies, and operations. In addition, the experience has taught me how to build strong relationships with external clients and colleagues. I have a demonstrated ability to work within teams and cross-sectoral borders. In addition, I have a high level of integrity and a great sense of responsibility and accountability.
