Victor is currently the project Director of the Unitaid-funded HIV and viral hepatitis self testing in Africa project. Victor has over 12 years clinical and programmatic experience designing, implementing and monitoring interventions addressing quality of TB, HIV and vaccine preventable diseases including surge interventions for epidemic control. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery, Master’s degree International Management of Health Systems from the University of Liverpool and Master’s Certificate in Healthcare Leadership at Cornell University. Victor is currently Director Strategic Information of the USAID funded TB-LON 3 project at the Institute of Human Virology of Nigeria. As a National Consultant, he led USAID-funded Task Orders in-country to achieve and maintain targets using the Quality Leadership and Accountability(QLA) approaches (granular data analysis, daily situation room meetings and accountability at all levels). At KNCV, Victor successfully coordinated a project to improve quality of TB/HIV services among Private providers in Nigeria, Kazakhstan and Philippines. While serving as the community development service coordinator under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in South Western Nigeria, Victor established HIV clubs among high school kids and designed social behavioral change communication strategies to combat chronic communicable and non-communicable diseases (Diabetes, Hypertension, HIV/AIDS, TB etc), and scaled up Prevention of Mother and Child Transmission (PMTCT) of HIV in community health centers. Victor has contributed to several policy documents and public health research and manuscripts, currently peer-reviews at WHO Bulletin, British Medical Journal, PLOS-One and sits on editorial Board of the Pan-Africa Thoracic Society Journal (PATSJ).
