With 25+ years of experience, including a high level of Supply & Logistics management, contracting, logistics management, supply chain system strengthening, procurement services, and influential people management. Successes include 7-figure cost savings; I demonstrated a track record of leading for results, risk management, solution-focused analysis, and management decisions to deliver children's results. I held a variety of procurement positions in different Country Offices in an emergency setting, including positions of Contracts Manager, Logistics Manager, Supply & Logistics Specialist, Supply & Logistics Manager, Supply and & Logistics Officer, and Supply assistant, respectively, in Denmark, Iraq, Zambia, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea Bissau and Burundi. In these positions, I was crucial in ensuring UNICEF's Supply, logistics and contracting processes were efficient, costeffective, and compliant with legal and contractual requirements. I was responsible for managing suppliers' relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring UNICEF received optimal value from its Supply, logistics and contracting activities. While managing procurement, contracting and Logistics in different UNICEF Country Offices, I was deployed in various UNICEF emergency responses to lead manage Supply & Logistics, in Liberia for Ebola emergency, Djibouti for Yemen emergency Operations, Sri Lanka for Tsunami UNICEF emergency responses, Venezuela for UNICEF emergency responses, and recently in Ukraine. I have a solid knowledge of establishing an adequate Supply, logistics and contracting response strategy, including planning, procurement, distribution and monitoring of UNICEF's supplies, in support of the Country Programme and help the country to be result-driven in conducting business in an emergency. I have a proven ability to lead multicultural teams in a motivating and result-oriented manner and find innovative ways to overcome obstacles. I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, a bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration, and a Certificate in Humanitarian Response; I speak fluent English and French with basic Portuguese.
