Holds a BSc. in Civil Engineering degree with a Master in Development Management and diploma courses in Disaster Management, all of which complement both production and management experience. Demonstrable experience gained in disaster management & emergency relief/rehabilitation (General Food Distributions, Cash Based Transfers, Cash distributions), asset creations and constructions (especially roads, bridges/culverts/housing complex, Water and WASH Infrastructures), food security and livelihoods, agriculture production, climate smart agriculture/livestock/dairy and meat value chain activities, market system development, private sector engagement, youth engagements, entrepreneurship development, nutrition activities including supplementary feeding, activities to enhance socio-economic status of marginalized communities and build their resilience, civil society strengthening, skills training, commodity management, Social Cohesion activities, stakeholder representation, financial and operational oversights of all the projects/programs. Experienced in program design and implementation, managing donor relations, finances and administration tasks, while combining a thorough understanding of geopolitical challenges and the skill to implement organizational enhancements in a variety of regions. Skilled in the preparation and presentation of quarterly and annual reports to donors and served as project liaison to high-level meetings and conferences. Resourceful, analytical, adaptable and innovative, generates optimal results with a positive energy and desire to continually build on success. ================ 2015: Successfully managed Livestock Production for Improved Nutrition project start-up, production/implantation of certain key deliverables like conduction of baseline survey and its' report, development of M&E plan, Branding and Marking Strategy etc. Produced all the deliverables to USAID (the donor) on time despite being under an extremely tight deadline. Which was the first time in ACDI/VOCA's entire history of project implementation that all the start-up deliverables were completed successfully on time - received a cash award and a certificate from the organization's President for this achievement. 2010-2011: Successfully managed a school feeding program for 100,000 children for one year for a USDA Pilot project in Bangladesh. Additionally, led the development of a vitamin fortified nutritious cereal bar with locally available grains to feed school children by procuring food commodities locally realized a 26% cost savings. Now the cereal bar is a commercial product with 2 processors supplying 500,000 bars every month in Bangladesh markets. 2002-2004: Achieved a sustainable and cost-effective model of programming for CARE Bangladesh by combining four projects under single management opposed to four different management structure - resulting in savings of between 25 -30% of management costs.
