I have more than 20 years of experience in development projects and international cooperation. I am a Dr. Engineer and a leading expert in sustainable management of resources, renewables, and sustainability. Since 2020, I have been serving as Director of research and Consulting at MENA Renewables and Sustainability, and have made significant contributions to more than a hundred projects and studies across Africa, Asia, and Europe. These projects have been funded by international financial institutions, and development organizations such as the World Bank Group, IFC, KfW, AfDB, EIB, EBRD, AFD, ADF, EC, GIZ, Union for the Mediterranean, Swiss International Cooperation, DFID, BMZ, BMBF, Energie und KlimaFonds, MCC, GCF, and renowned international firms like Masen and Masdar. With a background in engineering and a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from the Polytechnic University of Ancona, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise on renewable energy, green hydrogen, and green economy. I am a certified Re-grid Manager, specializing in the integration of large amounts of renewable energy into the grid, from the German Renewables Academy. Additionally, I hold a certificate on financing mechanisms for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in developing countries from the University of Lund. I am fluent in Arabic, English, French, and Italian, and have a working command of German and Spanish. This linguistic versatility enables me to effectively collaborate with international teams and stakeholders, further enhancing my ability to drive sustainable development initiatives globally.
