I have more than 25 years of experience of providing expert policy advice and analytical support to governments and development partners on a wide-range of issues in development policy and economics of development, across Southern and Eastern African nations, to drive advancement of sustainable growth and development. I have extensive experience working with various national government agencies in Southern Africa and international agencies, including various United Nations agencies, the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the European Union, and agencies of the African Union. I am proficient in policy reform dialogues, macroeconomic management and policy, national development planning, macroeconomic framework and medium-term fiscal budget planning frameworks, macroeconomic modelling and forecasting using Eviews, public expenditure reviews, project/program design and management, disaster risk sensitive analysis of fiscal budgets, providing technical assistance programmes, and risk analysis (macroeconomic, fiscal, natural disaster, environmental). I have a proven track record of delivering high-quality analytical reports for various organisations, including country diagnostic analyses, leave no one behind assessments, and human rights based economic analyses. I have country-level experience of seven countries: South Africa, Zambia, Eswatini, Malawi, Lesotho, Ethiopia, and Kenya.
