With exposure to many parts of the world, including Europe, Canada, and Africa, I fulfil my passion for changing people's lives and making a difference through the delivery of international development programmes across 40+ countries of the African Union. Working at a senior leadership level, I possess a strategic and operational skillset. Having worked and travelled globally, I am proficient at handling multicultural stakeholders and forging lasting relationships with partners worldwide. As an advocate, I represent the face of the organisation and region, well-versed in advancing its interests on all platforms, with experience in handling media and public speaking engagements. Not only am I capable of directing a division of the multilateral agency, AUDA-NEPAD, I also play an active role in other not-for-profit organisations as a member or president of advisory boards and voluntary-based entities, offering a wealth of skills to coach leaders and advise on budgetary management and the handling of monitoring and evaluation. My fortes include building and maturing capabilities: I head up AUDA-NEPAD's new Human and Institutional Development Division, incorporating five units: Health, Gender, Nutrition, Skills Development and Employment, and Education. I set out achievable goals, manage multimillion-dollar budgets and mobilise some of the most rewarding programmes. I champion transformational change and seek out opportunities to overhaul operational practices that realise notable efficiencies and take the lead in pioneering concepts that further organisational agendas.
