Summary

I have 25 years of experience in international relief and development working in Africa (Sudan and DR Congo), the Middle East, Bosnia and Croatia, and Central Asia. Most of my professional experience is in leading business development processes and proposal writing for international NGOs across multiple sectors (although most of my work recently has been in resilience and livelihoods) for major bi-lateral and multi-lateral donors (USAID - BHA and RFSA, PRM, EU, ECHO, NORAD, SIDA, DANIDA, UN, Common Humanitarian Fund, CERF). In addition, I have facilitated workshops to develop theories of change for the purpose of guiding program design. I can comfortably develop and manage budgets, and I am experienced in developing logical frameworks and MEAL plans. I also have significant experience as Head of Mission / Country Director managing program implementation and leading strategic development processes. I am fluent in Bosnian / Croatian, have good Russian speaking / listening skills and fair comprehension of French.
