George is a pan-African thought leader in impact investing and market system development covering the private sector, and gender lens investing, interfaced with seed systems, financial services, agri processing and fragility. With 12 years experience at the intersection of agri-finance, and private sector development, George has held different roles in program management, providing strategic leadership, tracking and reporting impact. George is passionate about making markets work for the under-served in our society - people living in rural and conflict /fragile areas. He has designed and implemented grants and technical assistance programs by forging partnerships with development partners to deploy resources to entrepreneurs and the civil society in Sub Sahara Africa.
