Hanise Sumbana

I am a seasoned public health professional with over 20 years of experience in project design, management, and implementation, including many years with PEPFAR. My work spans the UN system, the private sector, and USAID, where I managed the largest community-based project in Mozambique. I also have extensive experience in conflict-affected areas, including South Sudan, where I collaborated with CDC on HIV/AIDS initiatives. My expertise integrates social development and food security approaches, with a strong focus on vulnerable populations such as orphans, women, and the chronically ill. As a consultant, I have provided training and research support to address social development challenges, particularly around HIV/AIDS, and am committed to creating lasting, positive change in the communities I serve.
