Ian Driscall

Mr. Driscall has some 28 years’ experience working with public and private sector power utilities in both developing and developed countries. He specializes in the turnaround of ailing electric distribution utilities in developing countries. At the individual utility level, he brings extensive practical experience in all commercial aspects of utility operations, design and deployment of utility information systems, internal governance, ethics and anti-corruption, performance management and business planning. At the sector level, he also works in political economy, sector governance and oversight, and regulation. Big-Four and teacher trained, Mr. Driscall combines strong analytical and financial skills with innovative strategic thinking and a solid commercial background in all aspects of the power sector. He has excellent relationship and capacity building skills and practices a collaborative consulting approach to build ownership and consensus in all his engagements. Prefer short term fly-in, fly-out consulting opportunities but now open to a conversation on long-term in-country positions.
