Imad Alhajj (M.A.) is a seasoned strategist, analyst, researcher, and communicator, deeply committed to advancing human rights, peace, and justice. With over 12 years of experience in program management and interdisciplinary research, Imad has collaborated with leading academic institutions and non-profit organizations, bringing a wealth of expertise in human rights, transitional justice, humanitarian protection, gender equality, monitoring, and community engagement. Fluent in English, Arabic, and Kurdish, Imad is adept at navigating complex, multilingual environments to drive meaningful change. He holds a Master’s degree in International Development Policy from Duke University (2024) and dual Master’s degrees in International Humanitarian Action from Uppsala University and Law and Leadership from Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) (2021). Imad’s passion for advancing human rights, peace, and democracy is deeply rooted in his personal experiences in conflict zones and his extensive work in humanitarian response.
