Throughout my career, I have been privileged to manage diverse projects and grants funded by renowned institutions such as USAID, the Global Fund, Gavi, DFID, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and other prominent UN Funding Mechanisms. In my current role as Nigeria Program Manager and experience from other program management roles have honed my skills in effectively leading teams and overseeing project implementation and also supporting the Federal Ministry of Health and the local CCM in developing new tools for the management of the current Global fund grant. I have successfully developed a dashboard (link can be shared in confidence if requested) . Spanning from 1993 to 2023, my career has been dedicated to programme management across crucial sectors including WASH, health, food security, education, and politico-economic transition. I have actively contributed to numerous sector coordination forums, collaborating with government bodies and championing resource mobilization efforts. This experience has extended across countries such as Mozambique, Angola, Sudan, South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Namibia, and Kenya. My proficiency as a grant management and administration specialist has allowed me to thrive in diverse national contexts. I excel in day-to-day program and financial management, emphasizing operational efficiency and cost-effective practices. My ability to align managerial and technical skills ensures that both grants and organizations efficiently manage funds, realizing their envisioned outcomes. One of my strengths lies in fostering collaboration with implementers and sub-recipients of donor funds. I have a proven track record in compliance and risk management, public financial management, grant and fund administration, budget oversight, supply chain coordination, and robust monitoring and evaluation practices. With over 15 years of hands-on exposure in grant management, I am poised to make a meaningful contribution to this role. My educational background, which includes a BSc in Economics, an MSc in Development Economics, a Master in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid, as well as diplomas in Purchasing Management,Project Management, Operations Management, and Supply Chain Management, underscores my commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
