Summary

Currently Chief of Party of USAID/DRC’s 28 million USAID Métiers Inclusifs with Catholic Relief Services. Dr Jack Bantu is an education professional and doctor of pedagogy and didactics of disciplines with over 12 years’ experience leading and implementing youth education and development projects, primarily in the DRC. Led USAID-funded activities for nearly 5 years as a Deputy Chief of Party and has served in a variety of design, implementation, consultative, monitoring, and management of education projects. Combines specialties in education in emergencies, child protection, evidence-based interventions using EGRA and EGMA findings, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and educational policy in low resource contexts. Has extensive and relevant field experience in development approaches, engaging directly with the youth and their communities, and combining youth’s education and training with economic development, especially in active- and post-conflict regions. Brings fluency in French, English, and Kiswahili.
