Summary

PROGRAMME MANAGER Over 20 years' experience on multi-million-dollar humanitarian assistance and economic development programs, including: a) managing consortia with local organizations, government stakeholders, researchers and the private sector, b) leading strategy and program development, implementation, operations and compliance and c) providing technical expertise in Humanitarian- Development-Peace (Nexus HDP) programs implementation, organizational development and gender. Over 20 years of senior management experience and 15 years of experience in international development and the private sector, with extensive skills in program coordination, strategic planning, and monitoring and evaluation. Administrative, financial, and human resources management skills, as well as knowledge of public procurement and grants and contracts management. Proven leadership skills to guide, mentor and manage diverse and multicultural work teams while inspiring professionalism and camaraderie among team members. Very strong ability to work in cross- cultural contexts and engage in diversity and inclusion processes. Very strong advocacy skills to champion organizations, programs, or units, while cultivating positive and collaborative relationships with organizational partners and stakeholders. Experience communicating with high-level leaders, including ministers, ambassadors, and elected officials. Experience working in sub-Saharan Africa (Niger, Burkina Faso, Mali, Democratic Republic of the Congo) and knowledge of the geopolitics and issues currently impeding development in the region. Technical skills in a variety of areas, with a focus on private sector and infrastructure development to achieve development in other sectors, including the environment, inclusive agricultural market systems (passionate market systems development practitioner with motivation to support poor rural communitiesparticularly women to generate income that enables their families to live productive and meaningful lives), value chains, food security, supply chain management systems natural resource management, small business development, water sanitation and hygiene. Degrees in Electromechanical Engineering, Master's Degree in sustainable Management, Master's Degree in Business Administration, and Master's degree in economics of education/training and employment systems engineering. Expertise in Resilience Collaboration Learning Adaptation (RCLA), Expertise in Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains in the African context, Expertise in Leadership and Management for Development Impact, Expertise in Peacebuilding & Social Cohesion. Expertise in implementing programs using the HDP approach.
