Justine Greening was appointed the U.K. secretary of state for international development in September 2012. She is the Conservative member of parliament for Putney, Roehampton and Southfields, a post she first assumed in 2005. She has served in various leadership posts within the Conservative Party, including vice chairman with responsibility for youth, economic secretary to the treasury, and secretary of state for transport.
