I am a Chartered Accountant with 25 years plus post- qualification experience. My areas of expertise are Accounting , Assurance, Risk Analysis, Internal Controls Assessment, Financial Management Assessment, Financial Surveillance, Investigations, Internal Audit, Operational Review, Training/Capacity Building and Procurement Assignments Recently I have worked as the Audit Manager for two projects in Zimbabwe funded by UNICEF. I have also worked as the Team Leader for the job of Capacity Assessment of Health Service Commission of Zimbabwe at the behest of UNDP. I have worked as the FMS for 2 World Bank funded projects based in India and Thailand ( executed by RIMES) respectively with overall responsibility finance , budget , accounting , internal controls and audit. Concurrently I have also worked for an assignment for a project named SAHF , also a project of RIMES. I was also the team leader for Harmonious Access to Cash Transfer ( HACT) assessment , as required by UNDP for cash assistance to be disbursed to the Government of Mongolia. I am an accredited FMS of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) having qualified in the Accreditation Examination carried out by IFAD. Since 2009 , I have carried out numerous assignments for various projects in IFAD in various countries in Asia, East Europe and the South Pacific including two supervision missions in the year 2023. I have the experience of working as the Group Internal Audit Manager in two groups of companies in East Africa for a total period of about four years. Earlier to that I had been the Engagement Manager in the assurance division of PricewaterhouseCoopers, India for thirteen years. I am an individual with a very positive attitude and essentially a team player and respectful of others’ views. I have very strong training and capacity building skills.
