Ms. Byrne has more than 25 years experience coordinating and implementing economic development programs; including 15 years of staff management. Her areas of technical expertise include market systems, resilience, adaptive management, private sector engagement and market systems in fragile contexts. Ms. Byrne has also demonstrated her ability to work in complex environments and build teams that use adaptive management to design internal systems that create and measure meaningful change. As a leader in the re-write of the Minimum Economic Recovery Standards (part of the Sphere Standards), she has also helped to define best practices for private sector engagement by the humanitarian community.
