Katelula Kaswaga is a dedicated Professional Bridge Engineer (cable-stayed Bridge Expert) with over 12 years of Expertise in Structural Design and Construction of an Extradosed Bridge and Cable cable-stayed bridge. He has been involved in several landmark cable-stayed bridge and extradosed bridge projects in Tanzania including Tanzanite Extradosed Bridge (Construction, max span 125m, length 1.03km) crossing the Indian Ocean, J.P. Magufuli Extradosed Bridge (Construction, max span 160m, length 3.0km) crossing Lake Victoria, and Nyerere Cable-Stayed Bridge (Research Engineer, max span 200m, length 680m) crossing the Indian Ocean, Construction of Beijing Metro 19 Line Civil Engineering Construction 09 Contract Segment ( New Line 19 Beijing Subway Underground Station), Roads Construction, and Track/Railway Engineering with an ability to engage in Scientific Research Independently. He’s also a member of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) and the Chair of the IABSE Tanzania Group.  Sound experience in project and site management, including responsibility for technical, contractual, and commercial matters; interface between project direction and stakeholders (e.g., clients, authorities, site supervisors, consulting engineers, and architects); quality control and safety control, and time management and Practical use of the 1999 FIDIC Conditions of Contracts.  Literate skilled in Auto-CAD program, MS Office, Excel, SAP2000, and Road Docto Software for surface and sub-surface data analysis and Ground Penetrating Radar. I am very well organized, target-focused, and flexible to change.
