Kimberly Kane (She / Her)

Kimberly Kane is a bilingual (English/French) international development professional with over 25 years' experience, which includes operating at project, country, regional and global levels. She has a solid track record of managing diverse teams, complex portfolios and projects, and high-profile consultancy agreements with stakeholders including UN agencies, US government, INGOs, and local CSOs. An expert in capacity development, she is passionate about Locally Led Development (LLD) and Learning and Development (L&D), where she draws on proven skills in teaching, training, facilitation, instructional design/e-learning, organizational development, and leadership strengthening. She also specializes in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) and Results-Based Management (RBM); and she has a strong background in corporate strategy, business development, project/program/portfolio management, and people management. Kim has worked in over 30 countries worldwide, lived in sub-Saharan Africa for 15 years (Madagascar, Guinea, Rwanda, Senegal, and South Africa), and spent nine years in team-lead positions, including: overseeing nine Country Offices with almost 1,000 staff and awards totaling $550m as a Portfolio Director in a Regional Office; leading a 5-year, $37.4m USAID-funded award as Chief of Party in a Project Office; and managing a team of program management and M&E experts that supported a multi-sectoral portfolio as Associate Director-Strategic Management & Capacity Building in a Country Office. She currently leads MSH's global practice area on Local Capacity Strengthening.
