Kwame Ntim Pipim (He / Him)

Kwame is an experienced development professional, agribusiness / agriculture expert, business strategist and pro-poor market systems specialist. I have (18) years of experience in agro project, rural development, agriculture, SMEs coaching, marketing management, and consulting. I have consulted for West Africa Biodiversity and Low Emissions Development Project (USAID) and Eden Tree / BoPlnc Pilot and phase II project (British International Investment). I have in the past (7) years led Base of Pyramid Innovation Center (BoPlnc) activities in the 2SCALE Project in Ghana and Nigeria in an end-to-end fashion. I was also the Ghana lead for the BoPlnc-InnoFood Project consortium in Ghana. In recent past, I was the 2SCALE BoP marketing, private sector development & entrepreneurship coordinator for (10) project countries. A key component of this portfolio was extensive collaborative work with thematic specialist in climate & sustainability, youth & women empowerment across various commodity value chains in rural Africa. Kwame has provided product innovation and market development support for micro small medium enterprises (MSMEs) and smallholder farmers (SHFs) in Ghana, Nigeria, Benin, Cote D’lvoire, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Niger and South Sudan that focus on mass consumers and base of pyramids (low incomes in rural and urban settings). I have strategically and technically guided public private partnership (PPP) facilitation that seeks to broker and establish productive business growth among agro-value chain actors with smallholder farmers as central focus. Kwame is an ardent believer of “collaborative leadership” which embraces ideologies and inclusiveness from team members, hence advancing innovation and dynamism in impact. Kwame holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). He also holds (3) master’s degrees in marketing and management.
