Currently I am employed as a Researcher within the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality; I have been in this position since March 01, 2109. Prior to being in this position, I was a Survey Statistician at Statistics South Africa, which I occupied from April 01, 2016. I believe that having more than 12 years’ experience of being in the public sector add as an advantage. Having and Honors degree in Development Studies with University of Pretoria, and currently busy with Master’s degree at WITS University School of Governance (WSG) in the field of Public & Development Sector: Monitoring & Evaluation, this course will be important for my career growth and development. I also have a BA: Government, Administration & Development with University of South Africa (UNISA), which I obtained 68% average. I am in the final year of my 2nd undergraduate degree at UNISA, which is BA: Policy Studies. The reason for doing a second undergraduate degree, importantly Policy Studies, is to assist in policy making in the developing world, which is one of the most neglected aspect by the corporate world. In addition, I had the privilege of working with the University of South Africa during the 2014 National and Local Government Elections as an Election Observer. I also had the honor of being in the first group of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) program held in November December 2015 by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the Public Governance Track.
