Summary

An agricultural economist with over 20 years of experience in rural development, food, nutrition and economic security, livelihoods and resilience projects in Sub-Saharan Africa in normal, conflict & post-conflict environment. I have a wealth of experience in Programme management from fundraising, inceptions, implementation, monitoring and evaluation to closing projects, as well as in undertaking baseline surveys, mid-term and end of project evaluations in different contexts. I have experience implementing emergency, early recovery and development projects; have successfully implemented cash transfer programming (CTP) interventions (cash & vouchers), microfinance (savings & internal lending communities - SILC & village savings and loans association - VSLA), agriculture production & extension support, resilience building & strengthening, agro-enterprise (AE) & value chain (VC) development. Some of the countries worked in include Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Malawi, Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi.
