An experienced international development economist, with 17 years of experience at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), working with developing countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently Vice Minister of Economy of the Republic of Ecuador. Previously was a Climate Finance Expert for Euroclima+; Climate Finance Adviser for the Independent Association of Latin America and the Caribbean (AILAC). Experience with the design, cofinance, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of development projects, including loans, technical assistance, grants and investment projects. Represented the IDB at the Latin American Investment Facility and Caribbean Investment Facility of the European Union; and at the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC).
