Maged Iskarous

Programme planning and results-based management professional with experience supporting UN- and donor-funded programmes across global health and integrated development contexts. My work focuses on strengthening programme systems that enable effective planning, coordination, monitoring, and evidence-informed decision-making. I have supported programme start-up, annual workplanning, activity-level budgeting inputs, and performance tracking for complex, multi-pillar initiatives, working closely with programme directors, technical teams, implementing partners, and headquarters counterparts. My experience includes designing and maintaining RBM and MEAL frameworks, consolidating partner inputs, preparing programme documentation, and contributing to donor reporting and management oversight. I have worked with international NGOs and multilateral organizations at country, regional, and global levels, including in emergency and health systems strengthening contexts. Across roles, I am recognized for my ability to translate strategic priorities into operational plans, support accountability and learning, and facilitate coordination across technical disciplines and stakeholders. My professional interests include programme systems strengthening, integrated programming, global health security, health systems governance, and cross-sectoral approaches in development and humanitarian settings.
