Summary

Over 30 years of management experience in international development, social mobilization, and government, with more than 17 years living and working in West Africa. Since 2000, I have worked effectively on program and grants management, and new business development for democracy and governance, health, women’s and adolescent girls’ empowerment, peace building, and livelihoods projects. I have extensive experience as a Country Director, Chief of Party and Team Leader, managing and supporting start-up and implementation of USAID, DFID, EU, World Bank, Global Fund, and private donor-funded projects. My technical focus has been gender and social inclusion, civil society strengthening, open governance, legislative and budget processes, and livelihoods. I have also supported project management teams to implement effective and innovative approaches to reproductive health, adolescent girls’ empowerment, malaria, HIV/AIDS, water/sanitation, and other projects. Beginning January 2015, I worked in the home office of a major International Non-Governmental Organization providing management, technical, and contract support to more than 10 projects in South Asia and Africa.
