Jacob T. Laden, MA is a research, evaluation and organizational capacity development consultant with over 17 years of experience providing technical oversight and leadership to international development projects. Over the last decade, he has held leadership roles on USAID MEL platforms in Tanzania, Honduras and Pakistan and more recently Ukraine conducting research and learning activities focusing on democracy and governance, technical assistance and education programs. He has led teams of experts, supervising teams of core program technical staff on field based and international projects. Mr. Laden has led, conducted and authored/co-authored over 50 publications and reports across a range of sectors including democracy and governance, conflict and stability, health, basic and higher education, economic growth and agriculture. He is versed in a range of MEL approaches, quantitative and qualitative analysis, as well as organizational learning, strategy, design and training for international organizations.
