
Marc van der Stouwe is an accomplished executive leader in international development, with over two decades of leadership and management experience in international development. He has been responsible for designing and managing complex, multi-million-Euro programmes and funds across Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. He has built a track record of excellence in programme management, organisational governance, and institutional capacity building. He worked as Managing Director of Euroconsult Mott MacDonald B.V. (annual turnover EUR 30 million), the Netherlands-based part of the Mott Group, with responsibility for ensuring development impact and business performance across the wide range of sectors Mott MacDonald was active in. In his final year at the company he also worked as Global Sector Leader International Development of the entire Mott MacDonald Group, responsible for a major strategic review and development process. In 2024 he moved to the Germany-based GOPA Group as Managing Director of GOPA AFC and its subsidiary company GOPA MetaMeta (total annual turnover: EUR 35 Million). In this capacity he oversees the company's operations and performance in the agriculture, climate and water sectors. Marc combines high-level strategic vision with operational precision, making him qualified to provide strategic business leadership, oversee large-scale operations and ensure accountability across complex delivery systems.
