âĻI am an independent consultant in non-profit business development, monitoring and evaluation, and facilitation, working on the Middle East and Africa regions. My passion is using evidence, evidence-based design, decision-making, and learning, to uphold the rights of marginalized populations so that everyone can live in peace, dignity, equality, and harness their agency. ð I bring 15 years of experience in the international development and humanitarian assistance sectors, in diverse areas such as protection, cash and vouchers, water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion (WaSH), gender equality and women's rights, civil society and citizen engagement, agriculture, health, youth employment and entrepreneurship, and support to small and medium sized businesses. ð In my consulting practice, I draw from a rich background that includes full-time program and monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning roles with Oxfam, UN Women, and Global Affairs Canada (formerly The Canadian International Development Agency). ð I am a native speaker of Arabic, fluent in English and French, and intermediate in Russian. ðð― I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with consultants, consulting firms, international non-governmental and local civil society organizations.
