
I have over 25 years of professional experience in global health and international development, managing substantial technical assistance budgets for Central Asia and Eastern Europe to control and prevent infectious diseases of public health concern, such as tuberculosis, HIV, malaria, COVID-19, and others. My work is characterized by a strong leadership and results-oriented approach to developing and implementing health policies, laboratory quality, and safety measures that adhere to global standards and improve healthcare outcomes. I have successfully managed large-scale laboratory capacity-building initiatives financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the Global Fund to Fight Tuberculosis, HIV and Malaria (GFATM), establishing collaborative partnerships with national and international stakeholders and professional communities. I have worked for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (U.S. CDC), Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and also served as a subject matter expert for the World Health Organization (WHO) missions, the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases (The Union) and other organizations. I am driven by quality and proficient in navigating diverse cultural and professional landscapes to advance public health objectives.
