I am an enthusiastic feminist practitioner and applied researcher with nearly 20 years of work experience in both Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia with a particular focus on prevention and response to Violence against Children and Violence Against Women (VAC/VAW) and MERL. I am interested in understanding and exploring social norms maintaining violence and inequalities globally and VAC/ VAW measurement. I have led observational, mixed-methods studies and am particularly fond of innovative and participatory methods that put women and girls at the center of the scene. My work involves designing and leading research with and for international and locally-based organizations. I believe in transformative journeys, shared power and collective action.
