Walter Tukahiirwa

Walter is a highly motivated and talented finance professional with over 20 years' experience within the East Africa Region and Internationally in financial and treasury management, business strategy, financial accounting and management and audit. He has led financial institutions enabling them achieve business strategy objectives. He also managed financial and treasury operations at commercial banks and MFIs and a prudent hands-on approach to achieving cash flow stability, financial reporting, asset and liability management and raising capital (both locally and internationally). He has trained staff at financial institutions in various subjects including asset liability management, risk management, trained staff in financial accounting. Walter has led various projects ranging from product development for microfinance clients to technical assistance programs within the East Africa region.
