Currently: - Consultant, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management: prepare and deliver training courses for risk officers from Romanian Commercial Bank; Previously served as: - International Consultant – short term missions for International Development Group (IDG) - Indo-Pacific Opportunity Program (IPOP) USAID regional offices in Asia. - General Manager for South Pacific Business Development Vanuatu, ensuring the kick start of microfinance operations and gradually achieve operational and financial sustainability; - Country Manager for Oikocredit Romania - instrumental in successfully achieving a 2-fold portfolio growth with excellent portfolio quality and operational efficiency serving local MFIs as well as SMEs from rural and urban areas; - Executive Director, Chief Operations Officer and General Manager for regulated 3 microfinance institutions wherein developed credit mechanisms for group and individual lending in Romania and Kazakhstan; - Also worked for over 14 years as an international expert/ project manager for various programs developed and implemented by UNIDO and UNDP in the areas of: private sector development, promotion and development of MSMEs, including initiation of cooperation and partnerships between UNIDO/UNDP and various donors and financiers, investment promotion, business incubation, policy advise, microfinance and projects aimed at promoting micro, small and medium entrepreneurs in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), Afghanistan, Yemen, Iran, Albania and Moldova. - Professional trainer for over 20 training projects developed by UN agencies, USAID, EU, aimed at imparting basic and advanced knowledge of finance and economics to various project beneficiaries (women and young entrepreneurs, Rroma groups, public institutions, SME associations and local banks) in Central Asian countries, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Albania.
