Summary

I have more than 19 years of professional experiences on humanitarian response and development works with national and international NGOs. Currently, I’m working in Kabul, Afghanistan as Head of Programme (expat position) of Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), managing multi-sectoral programmes (Annual budget £6 million per year), focusing on Livelihoods, inclusive Market Development, Health & Nutrition, Community Development, Child Welfare, Education, and Humanitarian Response. I’m also managing M&E and field operations of the programmes. Previously, I worked with LWF/RDRS Bangladesh for Rohingya Response Programme, DanChurchAid (DCA) as Country Manager, Welthungerhilfe e.V Germany, Christian Aid UK – Bangladesh; Islamic Relief Bangladesh and SKS Foundation. I have practical experiences on direct programme implementation and partnership implementation. My core competency is Project Cycle Management with technical expertise on Resilience Livelihoods, Humanitarian Response, Cash & Voucher Programming, Partnership Development, Grants Management, Fundraising, and Monitoring & Evaluation. I have practical experiences to manage large and complex multi-sectoral programmes. I’m familiar with the funding mechanisms of UNOCHA, Unicef, UNDP, EU, ECHO, DANIDA, DFID, BMZ, SIDA, USAID, and Scottish Govt.
