Mwali Marie Merci (She / Her)

Mwali M. Merci is a seasoned Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) expert with over six years of experience in designing evaluation methodologies, leading research teams, data analysis, and reporting. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Project Planning and Management. Her work spans women and youth empowerment, child protection, social protection, gender, and social inclusion in Rwanda. Merci has supported government and NGO programs across rural and urban Rwanda. She contributed to the development of national M&E frameworks, including the household profiling assignment for LODA, and provided M&E technical expertise to the National Child Development Agency under the USAID-funded Data for Impact project. She has worked with organizations such as the Dallaire Institute, where she served as Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning, and Research Officer, and as Research Coordinator at YLabs.
