As a medical doctor and having advanced degrees in public health, I network and develop large and integrated health project designs and strategies for successful project proposals. In the role of regional/country/ project director, I oversee/make grants and lead effective implementation with promising results and improved health outcomes, keeping technical excellence, continuous learning, diversity, inclusion, and equity as core cross-cutting attributes. I mentor senior program and technical staff and build motivated and result-focused project teams. I have a demonstrated track record of designing and implementing successful, large, complex projects in several countries in Asia and Africa in a public health career that spans over 20 years and has largely been with Johns Hopkins University and its affiliate Jhpiego.
