I have 2 Master degrees, MBA and M.A. in Sustainable International Development. The later I got recently from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, USA. Heller school is well known as a diversity environment where students from all over the world come to study sustainable international development and social policy. My time at the Heller school exposed me the challenges of global development, and added to my previous years working in humanitarian/development by enhancing my capacity to meet those challenges with technical, theoretical, and research based skills. I worked with many colleagues, who have various experience growing and working in other developing areas around the world, on projects focusing on sustainable solutions to developing countries.
I have over 10 years’ experience in managing project in the field of capacity building, training, community development, education and health for international humanitarian and development agencies such as: UN, DFATD, WUSC and Global Communities, using Result Based Management and Logical Framework within a multidisciplinary environment. I achieved the projects’ goals successfully throughout supporting, monitoring and motivating staff, leveraging resources and establishing and maintaining productive relationship with stakeholders. Although, my work was in emergency and complex context in a developing country I was always able to make sound judgment, solve problems, take care of details, priorities and meet deadlines.
I have the experience working with vulnerable groups, including children and women adopting participatory and human rights based approaches to community development and human well-being, as well as considerable experience in working as a team player within organizations and in coordinating activities across organizations.
