Dual profile in international development and researcher (social sciences). Consultant and staff for international organisations (EU, UN), governmental organisations and NGOs, but also a researcher in Global Development Studies and activist in organisations for the Right to Housing and to the City (Habita, European Action Coalition for the Right to Housing): As an international development professional, I have 12 years of experience on good governance and democracy, gender equality and women empowerment, human rights and democracy, civil society, and participatory approaches, from East and West Africa and from Latin America. In my current research, I focus on evictions and housing rights, from three main angles: housing governance and management of evictions; the role of civil society in contesting evictions; and vulnerable groups' access to housing. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Finnish, and have B2 skills in French and German. In addition, I speak basic Kiswahili and Creole of Cape Verde.
