Monitoring and Evaluation of Peace Building Programs by the Koffi Anana Peacebuilding Centre, Making Market Work for Poor by the Springfield Center, Certificate in Research Ethics Training Curriculum by Family Health Institute, and Measure Evaluation of Public Health projects by Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He worked as a planning, monitoring, and evaluation coordinator for PIND foundation providing oversight of the M&E function to the foundation's programs in off-grid energy, WASH, Economic development – Agricultural commodities, peacebuilding (in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria), youth employment pathways, government engagement, and organizational development. John developed and managed an online data capture tool that aggregates to a project dashboard for project management decisions, planning, and forecasting. He developed and managed a data quality assessment module that maintains the integrity of reported data. Under the USAID, FHI, and Deloitte project – Enhancing Nigerian Capacity Project, a project which aims to strengthen the capacity of local partners (CBOs, CSOs, and Government parastatals) John worked as a regional coordinator for the south region of Nigeria, he managed a portfolio of grant among 10 selected partners in Rivers and Bayelsa state. Strengthened the network and capacity of CSOs and government agencies in Rivers and Bayelsa states. John also worked as a national MEAL Lead for Africare on a PEPFAR/USAID-funded Technical Response to AIDS-affected population projects, Leading MEL components for The Global fund RBM project, Mac Arthur Adolescent Reproductive Health project, and the Soy Cow nutrition project. Since 2010 till date, John has volunteered for the Daughter of Charity (DoC) where he supported the identification, resource mobilization, and organizational development that led to the support of over 200 orphans, vulnerable children, and their caregivers in Eleme, Thai, Kana and Gokana LGA’s in Rivers State, Nigeria. He is currently providing technical support to a DoC project aimed at providing succor to the poor chronically ill person in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Recent projects supported under Short Term Technical Assistance in MELA include Palladium Europe B.V. and the Netherland government multicounty Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE) in Nigeria. Ajabu Advisors LCC on Christian AID- ECID multicounty outcome harvesting evaluation, development of MEL strategy for the host community development trust fund, petroleum industrial act, Official Gazette of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 2021, No. 142, Vol. 148, evaluation of UNICEF/FCDO reading and numeral activities in Katsina, Kano and Zamfara, Nigeria, led MEL activities of USAID/CRS Water for Agriculture Climate Change project close out in Adamawa, Yobe and Borno, Led DAI/USAID change management process for its partner and currently leading the MEL component of Panafricare/World Bank IMPACT project in Abia state Nigeria.
