i. I am a specialist in financial Inclusion, as well as in Microfinance, SME Finance and Agribusiness Finance – certified and with over 20 years of experience. ii. I certified with over 11 years’ experience of programme and project management and coordination, particularly on programmes and projects related with financial inclusion. iii. I am a seasoned banker. iv. I have the rare and unique advantage of having the experience of working and understanding financial inclusion both from the commercial / supplier side (2 banks and one NGO MFI) and from the development / facilitators’ side (FSDT, Gatsby Africa; and through my consultancy works). v. I am certified with over 10 years of experience in “Systemic Approach / Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P)” – in-class trained and certified by The Springfield Centre (of UK). I am thus able to coordinate programmes in a systemic approach, the results of which are sustainable, replicable and efficient. vi. I am very much familiar with the financial service systems, profiles and direction in Africa and beyond. I have actively and successfully participated in a number of strategic financial inclusion programmes and on a number of renowned studies to explore the sector. Among others, I actively participated in the development of the first Tanzania National Financial Inclusion Framework. My long experience in the sector has therefore given me good capability to drive financial market development and inclusiveness. vii. I am certified and with experience in alternative financial services delivery methodologies – including but not limited to: Informal Financial Groups, Digital Finance, Agency banking / financial delivery services, etc. viii. I have long experience in corporate management and leadership – including strategic planning, and resource mobilization – among other management disciplines. ix. I am experienced in leading teams across a number of specialties and programme areas, including at senior levels and multicultural nature. This is an experience I gained by having coordinated a number of programmes and projects and leading different departments in the organizations I have worked for. x. I am an advocate and expert in Youth development and Feminism Theory. xi. My over 22 years of experience in the financial sector has enriched me with wide and diverse network of different stakeholders in the sector, some of whom I am familiar with even at personal level. These include officeholders in key and relevant public offices and in the private sector, as well as in NGOs and development organizations. xii. I have long experience working for and with donor funded organizations, programmes and projects – including in multi funded programmes and in multi culture teams. xiii. I have long experience working with and coordinating programmes (and projects), in partnership between and with Government, donor community, NGOs and private sector. I am therefore an expert in stakeholders’ engagement. xiv. I am a community development expert – both certified and through experience. xv. I have had outstanding track record of performance and achievements in the organizations, programmes and projects I have been privileged to lead and work for. The businesses I have been involved with have had strong elements of sustainability, replicability / scalability and return on investment; resulting to both social and commercial benefits, and thus ensuring achievement of double bottom mission. xvi. I have strong passion in financial inclusion, including management of programmes and projects in the sector. xvii. I have experience in consulting, researching and training, particularly on: Financial Inclusion, Microfinance, SME Finance, Agribusiness finance, Banking, Market Systems, Credit Management, Community Development, Corporate Governance & Leadership, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Programme and project Management, and other development and commercial Fields. xviii. Academically: a. I am an MBA graduate – with majors in Financial Services and Programme Management. b. I have undergraduate degree in BSC Agriculture, majoring in Rural Economy and Agribusiness. c. I have been professionally trained and exposed internationally and locally in a number of renowned courses and workshops on financial services.
