o More than 28 years of experience in Private Sector Development, Trade Policy, Trade Development, Economic Policy, Capacity Building, Training, Technical Assistance and Business Development. o 18 years of experience in leading operational and project implementation teams, such as a team of experts providing TA and Training to public institutions enterprises (MSMEs), a team of 7 experts in the management of business development training and capacity building interventions and grants provided by the Portland Trust, managing and training a team of 38 industrial development experts at the Palestinian Federation of Industries (PFI) and a team of the trade policy advocacy and trade promotion staff (operating in the economic and productive sector) at Paltrade. o Extensive experience in preparation and publication of analytical studies: feasibility studies, economic analysis, policy and position papers, performance measurement and indicators, including mainstreaming of crosscutting issues such as environment, youth, gender, disabilities and rights-based approaches in Palestine and the MENA region, including productive sector assessments, economic development and value chain analysis. o Preparation of guidelines, business and strategic plans, manuals and checklists for fund management and allocation to private businesses, evaluation of offers, assessment of grants proposals, feasibility studies, also for applications with donor grants to Palestinian MSMEs. o Wide experience in the provision of BDS (business development services) to private sector members of business associations, also under GIZ funded assistance (German Technical Cooperation). o Wide experience in investment financing through work with (i) the Ministry of Agriculture, identification of investment needs and investment promotion, (ii) the Palestinian Investment Promotion Agency (PIPA), (iii) Oxfam investment programme in Area C of West Bank, E. Jerusalem and Gaza (iv) investment needs identification within the Palestinian Damage Needs Assessment for the Gaza Economic Sector, (v) the Portland Trust Private sector development investment needs (vi) PFI industrial development investment needs. o Highly relevant and extensive experience in capacity development and training of public and private institutions such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of National Economy, International Chamber of Commerce – Palestine, Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Federation of Business Associations, Palestinian Federation of Industries and private companies. Conducted several pieces of training of trainers (ToT) to employees of private sector institutions and MSMEs, aimed at providing business development services (BDS) to members of private sector institutions and companies in the areas of business management, feasibility studies, business planning, market access and quality production and productivity processes. Also provided direct business development services to SMEs and MSMEs in different sectors (agribusiness, industry, services such as ICT, tourism and banking) on business planning formulation and implementation, market access, quality management, marketing strategies, access to finance, strategic partnerships and innovation, entrepreneurship and startup development, management and acceleration, etc.. o More than 16 years of experience in the area of SME support, especially in management capacity development, export promotion, financing and human resource development and management. Such experience was based on hands-on work at Paltrade, PFI, Portland Trust, UN Women, whereby programmes implemented focused on providing direct business development services to SMEs and MSMEs in different sectors (agribusiness, industry, services such as ICT, tourism and banking) on business planning formulation and implementation, market access, quality management, marketing strategies, access to finance, strategic partnerships and innovation, entrepreneurship and startup development, management and acceleration, etc. o Professionally empowered with more than 10 years of experience in the area of investment promotion and development for PIPA, the Ministries of National Economy and Agriculture, the Portland Trust and Paltrade. o Relevant experience in the area of job creation, industrial occupational, age, qualification and gender structure of employment and trends, such as the work done with Ministry of Agriculture, UN Women, PIPA, PDNA and the PFI. o Over 23 years of experience developed in the MENA region including Palestine, Iraq and Yemen,
