As a passionate international development professional with over 17 years of experience, I specialize in Strategy, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL). I advocate for systems and practices that facilitate intentional learning from evidence and enable adaptation to evolving environments, ensuring effective and impactful development interventions. I possess extensive knowledge in establishing, managing, and refining MEL systems, developing MEL strategic approaches, processes, and tools. My experience includes managing and building capacity within MEL teams across development and public sectors, as well as serving as a seasoned MEL coach and team leader. I have over 14 years of expertise in designing and conducting evaluations for development and Humanitarian Emergency Affairs (HEA) and more than 12 years in crafting actionable strategies rooted in logic models and theories of change for a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, international NGOs, and local civil society organizations. I have significant experience in managing MEL systems for emergency responses, leading the setup of MEL structures, and conducting rapid assessments.
