Senior professional and independent consultant with over 15 years' experience in program design, management and implementation across humanitarian and development sectors including; democracy and governance, education, civil society strengthening, women, youth and disability inclusion and livelihoods. I have expertise in designing and effecting development programs and have worked directly with civil societies and government organizations in the Middle East, Central Asia, North Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific. My work with NGOs, and intergovernmental organizations, has been in highly sensitive areas, in conflict and post conflict, transitional and developing countries where challenges are part of daily routine. I am skilled at strengthening capacity through knowledge sharing, participation and inclusion. My professional approach is based on transformative and inclusive programming, problem solving, and local ownership, and I advocate for human rights, gender equality and justice. I have established and supervised national and international civil society networks and have extensive experience working with local staff and organizations. This has required working with CSOs both directly and remotely. My proven expertise in value chain research, critical analysis and report writing supports program design and review, problem identification, establishing targets and in mapping sustainable initiatives with feasible goals. I have designed multiple training tools and resources for contextual adaptation.
