I am a social develoment and governance expert with a PhD in social anthropology. I have worked on public service provision and social accountability for more than ten years in particular in urban areas. I have strong experience on urban development with particular focus on state's capacity for service delivery.I have both robust specialist and management experience. I have worked at a director's level for more than 14 years. I have managed both teams and the implementation of large programmes. I have worked in a large array of sectors - governance, water and sanitation, education, health. In addition to a career as a development expert, I have kept a strong interest in research and academic work, and have published several articles on urban development .
