Experience in screening of potential Environment, Social & Health risks & or Impacts, Scoping and preparation of environment, social & health impacts assessment (ESHIA) OR Environmental & Social Impacts Assessment (ESIA) of projects against the requirements of World Bank ESSs & IFC PSs, screening & categorization of the infrastructure projects and preparation of Environment and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) and prepared Environment & Social Review Summary (ESRS). Working experience in emerging markets, ideally in fragile and conflict-affected environments. Demonstrated experience in establishment of robust baseline for each project in term of biophysical (Aquatic/Fish & Terrestrial Biodiversity Surveys & Offset Management Plans), in particular Air Quality, Noise, Vibration, Terrestrial Ecology, Soils, Surface & Groundwater Quality, Heritage, Waste and Landscape. Carried out of Gender Disaggregated Socio-Economic Baseline Surveys. o Have demonstrated experience in project Feasibility Studies, designing and/or review environmental and social management systems (ESMS), ESMF/RPF,ESCP/ESAP,SEAs, cumulative impact assessment (CIA), IEEs/EIAs/ESIAs/ESHIAs/EMPs/ESMPs/ESMMPs C-ESMP, SEMP, Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP),SSEMP, Occupational Health & Safety Management Plans (OHSMPs), Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Plans, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) monitoring & auditing, RAP/LARP/LRIP/GAP, Environmental & Social Gap Analysis (ESGA) and Strategic Environmental & Social Assessment (SESA) for Mass Transit/Road, Water Resources (e.g. irrigation canals offtakinig from Indus River System, Small & Large Dams, Barrages including Sukkur Barrage, Guddu Barrage), Master Planning, Dredging & Land Reclamation, Water Supply & Sanitation/Transmission Pipelines, Photovoltaic Solar Mini Grids, Mining, Hydropower and Power Transmission Line projects in accordance with internationally acceptable environmental assessment guidelines and social safeguard policies of the ADB’s SPS 2009, AFD/KfW, EIB E&S Standards, USAID, UN SDGs, UNDP SES, EBRD PRs, AIIB ESF, World Bank Safeguard Policies including WB ESF-ESSs, IFC Performance Standards, Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) and Good Practice Notes (GPNs), Equator Principles IV (2020), WBG Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) Guidelines (2007) including relevant Industry Sector and other relevant sectoral guidance. Conversant with World Bank Dam Safety Policies & ICOLD & AUSCOLD standards. o Carried out Implementation supervision/monitoring of EMP/ESMP/ Occupational Health & Safety Management Plans (OHSMPs) and RAP/LARP/LRIP. Prepared Monthly, Quarterly Compliance Environmental Monitoring Reports (EMRs) & Semi-annual Environmental Monitoring Reports (SAEMRs). Carried out hydrologic/hydrographic and Environmental Flow assessment to determine minimum flow requirements of the river for hydropower projects and integrated river basin planning, Climate change risk and vulnerability assessment and project specific GHGs emission calculation. Carried out Critical Habitat (CHA) and Multiple Seasons Biodiversity Assessment surveys & Biodiversity Action Planning OR Biodiversity Action Management & Monitoring Plan (BAP/BMMP) in line with the IUCN Redlist & IFC PS6 (Guidance Note). Particular experience in E&S risks or impacts assessment for development of Hydropower plant projects (max 4700MWs & minimum 11 MWs), Grid Stations and Power Transmission Lines Projects in Indonesia, Afghanistan, Liberia, Papua New Guinea, Micronesia, Pakistan & Tajikistan from preliminary planning to design, implementation and operational stages.
