Dr. Shamwill Issah is a development and public health professional with more than15 years’ practical experience of working on USAID, DFID, DANIDA, Global Fund and World Bank funded programmes in Africa. My areas of expertise are family planning and reproductive health, cholera and Ebola prevention, malaria control, maternal, neonatal and child health, nutrition, HIV and AIDS, water, sanitation and hygiene, health financing, health policy development and management, health system strengthening, behaviour change communication, social marketing, advocacy, capacity building, community mobilization and youth development work. I am experienced in the design, management, monitoring and evaluation of development projects; development of business cases; use of the logical framework approach, design of theory of change for projects and supply chain management of health commodities. I am well acquainted with participatory development processes, participatory impact assessment and organizational capacity development. I possess proven skills in ensuring Value-for-Money in programme delivery, integration of gender, diversity and advocacy in programming, as well as ensuring programme coherence and quality. I am a good team worker with the ability to work on own initiatives, manage complex workload and deliver outputs and reports at agreed deadlines.
