• Proven leadership in managing diverse donor-funded projects with logframe-based monitoring, and deep familiarity with participatory approaches and institutional capacity building. • 16 years track record in project management funded by the EU, the UN (UNICEF, UNHRC, UNDP), the World Bank, AECID (Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development) and the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. • Good knowledge of EU cooperation policies and instruments (Global Gateway Investment Agenda, EU Green Deal, the Paris Agreement, the EU Global Strategy, the Joint Communication on EU-LAC relations, the EU-Pacific Alliance Joint Declaration, the Critical Raw Materials Act etc.), EU Research and Innovation Framework Programs (Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe 2021-27), EU Financial Regulations and procedures. • Direct communication (negotiation, protocol and diplomatic relations) with senior EC officials, diplomatic corps, members of government and senior officials in ministries or international organizations (IDB, EIB, WB, UN, WHO, EU, OAS), representatives of financial institutions, business organizations and academia. • Advising senior leadership and designing organizational strategies in support of key management operations/ activities and long-term financial sustainability.
