Sofia Guillot

I am an international consultant with 15 years of experience accompanying international and third sector organisations in their strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation of sustainable development and democratic governance programmes and projects. I also have extensive experience in strategic support to organisational change processes of international develop-ment organisations. Through my work as an independent consultant, I have participated as team leader in major evaluations in UNICEF (lead evaluator of UNICEF Pakistan Country Pro-gramme), UNODC (lead evaluator of INCB's precursor control programme) and UNV (evalua-tion expert of UNV's Strategic Framework), among others. I have also worked as permanent staff at UNFPA in Latin America for 4 years, holding M&E expert positions in country and re-gional offices with a strong strategic planning and evaluation component. My evaluation experience demonstrates that I can lead multidisciplinary and multicultural evaluation teams and manage evaluations in a participatory and consultative manner, while maintaining independence. I have excellent research, analytical and communication skills and is also able to effectively apply appropriate methods and approaches to specific evaluation and research questions. I have also extensive experience working with a wide variety of development actors including governments, international development organizations, donors and other funding agencies, private sector entities, and/or civil society organizations. I am fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish and I also speak French.
