Stephen Baker

I recently returned to Australia from the United Kingdom, where I worked both within the UK Government Economic Service (GES) and in international development roles. In GES roles, I demonstrated ability to apply my economist skills and manage teams in a wide range of policy areas, including health, climate change, and energy economics. This involved economic modelling and cost-benefit analysis to assess return on investment and value for money. In my international development roles, I undertook long term economist and public financial management roles. These were both capacity building and short term technical assistance placements.
